ATS Sync for SuccessFactors installation guide
Install your Indeed integration with SuccessFactors.

Before you start
This installation requires technical configuration. Consult your IT department before proceeding.
Required roles:
- SuccessFactors administrator – Configures SuccessFactors (API user, permissions, X.509 certificate, template files); can complete the Indeed installation with admin access
- Indeed Employer Home administrator – Completes the Indeed installation; understands data requirements and candidate-requisition associations
Obtain the Job Requisition mapping spreadsheet (fields.csv) and test implementation plan from your Indeed representative. Decide in advance: test vs production installation strategy, whether to use an IP allowlist (add Indeed IP addresses first), and who has access to the Indeed integration installation page.
The integration sends data only when these fields are provided: First name, Last name, Email, and Country. Ensure your templates and configuration include them (see Data validation).
Credential options for each approach:

| Test the integration | Test tenant | Pulls test tenant jobs to the job report for review. Jobs are not posted to Indeed. |
| Test the integration | Production tenant | Pulls production tenant jobs to the job report for review. Jobs are not posted to Indeed. |
| Prepare to go live | Production tenant | Pulls production tenant jobs and starts the process to post jobs to Indeed. |

Set up the API user, permissions, X.509 certificate, and template files in SuccessFactors.
