Integration overview
Integrate the Employer Registration API to register employers for Candidate Sync integration, which enables employers to sync candidate data and manage feature settings between their ATS and Indeed.
Integration steps
1. Sign a Developer Agreement with Indeed
Sign a Developer Agreement between your company and Indeed, then submit a formal integration request through Become an Indeed partner.
After Indeed approves your account, it enables access and sends a questionnaire about your integration.
2. Authenticate
When you become an Indeed partner, Indeed creates an app for your integration. Sign in to Partner Console to view the app and your OAuth credentials: client ID and secret. Exchange those credentials for an access token to authenticate API calls.
3. Develop and test your integration

Build an ATS UI for employers to register with Indeed, manage registrations, and deregister. The UI must support multiple registrations because an employer can register with multiple Indeed accounts.

Verify that:
- No common GraphQL errors occur during registration.
- Deregistration works.
4. Get approval for your integration
After your application meets these requirements, submit documentation with screenshots that covers:
- Indeed branding and placement in the employer's integration menu
- An employer registering with an Indeed account
- An employer deregistering
Indeed sends an email notification after approving your integration.
