Data mapping tables and sync behavior for the Workable integration.

 

Update and deduplication of candidates

Workable allows the same candidate for different jobs. The integration de-duplicates by job: it updates a candidate for that job or creates one if none exists.

For non-credential and non-authentication failures, the integration retries up to five times over eight hours.

Jobs synchronization

The integration syncs jobs hourly using the partner key. Only jobs that meet all of these criteria are retrieved:

• State is published.
• Not a sample job.
• Has a title.

Data validation

The integration requires these fields:

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Job ID

Each candidate is pushed to Workable as a contact record with:

Title	Required Work experience title.
Company	Optional Work experience company.
Summary	Optional Work experience description.
Start Date	Optional Work experience start date. Must be before the end date; otherwise both dates are set to null.
End Date	Optional Work experience end date.
Is Current	Optional Whether this is a current position. Default is false.

Degree	Optional Education degree.
School	Required Education school name.
Field of Study	Optional Field of study.
Start Date	Optional Education start date. Must be before the end date; otherwise both dates are set to null.
End Date	Optional Education end date.

Social profiles

Type	Required Social link type. Must match a supported type. Supported types: academiaedu, angellist, behance, bitbucket, blogger, crunchbase, dandyid, delicious, deviantart, digg, doyoubuzz, dribble, dribbble, econsultancy, facebook, flavorsme, flickr, fullcontact, getglue, gist, github, goodreads, googleplus, gravatar, hackernews, hiim, klout, lanyrd, linkedin, myspace, ohloh, orkut, pinterest, quora, reddit, scribd, slideshare, stackexchange, stackoverflow, tumblr, twitter, typepad, vk, wordpress, xing Unmatched types are skipped.
Name	Optional Social profile name.
URL	Required Social profile URL.

Resume

Data	Description
Name	Required File name.
Data	Required Base64-encoded data.

Source attribution

The partner token entered during installation sets the source.

Associate candidates with a requisition

Link each candidate to a requisition. During job linking, select the requisition ID and title from the Workable dropdown.

When re-driving candidates manually, select candidates and export. The dropdown then appears.

Candidate redelivery

The integration supports candidate redelivery. Each application creates a candidate.

Resume handling

The integration attaches the resume to the candidate without parsing. Workable supports one resume per application. When the candidate is updated, the new resume replaces the previous one.
