Send requisition flexfields to Indeed
Configure Oracle descriptive flexfields so Indeed receives them.
If you map an Oracle descriptive flexfield (DFF) to Indeed for the company name or salary, complete two tasks in Oracle: find the flexfield name, and make the flexfield visible to the Indeed Direct Apply partner. The name you enter in Indeed Integrations Hub must match the flexfield name in Oracle, and the flexfield must be visible.
Find the flexfield name
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, open the Job Requisition Descriptive Flexfields task.
- In the Global Segments table, find the segment you want to send to Indeed.
- Use the value in the Name column when you configure the mapping in Indeed Integrations Hub. Enter the name exactly as it appears in Oracle.
Make the flexfield visible to Indeed

- Activate a sandbox in Oracle. On the Settings and Actions menu, click Edit Pages, then activate a sandbox.
- Navigate to My Client Groups, then Quick Actions, then HCM Experience Design Studio.
- Click the Transaction Design Studio tab.
- Select the Recruiting - Additional Fields for Direct Apply action.
- Click Add to create a rule.
- In the Basic Details section, enter a name and description, then set Recruiting Partner to Indeed.
- In the Page Attributes section, select the Flexfield Context Code and the Flexfield Attributes value you want to send, then select Visible.
- Click Save and Close.
After configuration, the flexfield appears on the job requisition and Indeed receives it in the candidate details. If the field does not appear, check that:
- The name entered in Indeed Integrations Hub matches the Name column value in Oracle.
- Visible is selected for the attribute.
- The sandbox is active and the rule is published.
- The rule uses the correct partner context. Each partner supports one context plus the global context.
